Trump held its first official hearing on the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pa. Witnesses during the hearing featured state and local law enforcement officials who were on-site during the July 13 rally.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- On Thursday, September 26, 2024, the Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump will hold its first hearing entitled "The Ongoing Investigation of the Butler, Pennsylvania Security Failure: The Secret Service's Reliance on State and Local Law Enforcement."

Trump Chairman Mike Kelly (R-Pa.) and Ranking Member Jason Crow (D-Co.) requested documents and interviews from the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation regarding the attempted assassination of Donald J. Trump on July 13, 2024, in Butler, Pennsylvania.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump Chairman Mike Kelly (R-Pa.) and Ranking Member Jason Crow (D-Colo.)released this joint statement following a shooting that the FBI is investigating as an attempted assassination of former President Trump at his golf club in Florida on Sunday.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump Chairman Mike Kelly (R-Pa.) and Jason Crow (D-Colo.) requested documents and information from Pennsylvania State Police as part of the Task Force investigation into the events leading up to and on July 13, 2024 in Butler, Pennsylvania. The Task Force is requesting the information by September 16, 2024.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- On Tuesday, the Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump Chairman Mike Kelly (R-Pa.) and Ranking Member Jason Crow (D-Colo.) sent five letters to local law enforcement and local officials requesting transcribed interviews and additional information related to the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.
