WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, the Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump released redacted transcripts from the 46 interviews with local, state, and federal agencies conducted during its five-month investigation into the assassination attempts on President-elect Donald J. Trump.

The transcripts are first-hand accounts from U.S. Secret Service and Pennsylvania state and local law enforcement detailing what went wrong during the July 13 event in Butler, Pa. The transcripts also contain interviews with officials from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) related to the Bureau’s investigation into the firearm used by Thomas Matthew Crooks in Butler, along with explosive materials found in Crooks’ possession.

The transcripts follow the Task Force release of its final report text on Tuesday, December 10.
